Our application also cannot connect to api.ebay.com this morning. Our server (and two other unrelated servers i have tried) are unable to resolve api.ebay.com
No offical response from eBay?

I can confirm this. Intersting is the fact that the server api.ebay.com is not done. It is only not reachable from some networks. So for example from the network of the 1&1 in Germany i cannot resolve and if I use the IP himself I can not connect. From a server in network of server4you I can resolve and I can connect and make calls. If I use the same IP and try to connect from 1&1 it don't work.
So for me it seams as there is an network broken or manybe an firewall rule is blocking access from different networks arround.

There were some network issues at 1and1 probably because only servers located at their network weren't able to connect unles something went wrong along the way in the different place.
